Oil on Canvass |
Serious study of painting began many years ago under the instruction of my uncle, Carlos DeSimone. He taught art at the University of Florida and had his ouwn art school in Burlingame Ca. He was truly my inspiration. Since then I have studied with Gregory Kondos, Phillipe Gandiol and Ricardo Rivera. My hope is that the joy I experience painting
will be felt by my audience. |

sculpture, ceramic and glass |
I have been involved in teaching ceramic art classes for children in the public schools in Yolo County over the past 15 years. Currently I am interested in providing teacher training and support for artists who are starting to work in the schools.
My own work has recently involved using stainless steel and blown glass for large scale sculptures which have
been successful as public art commissions. |
