A distinctive art series aspiring to offer an artistic voice for all residents
while creatively defining what it means to be unified throughArt ~ Agriculture ~ Community
YoloArts was recently recognized as a national leader in weaving the arts into economic development for its Art & Ag Project.
“Going Full Circle” is the next generation of The Art & Ag Project - delivering a hands-on approach to art for the residents of Yolo County with the guidance of professional artists.
Funded by a grant from the Irvine Foundation, YoloArts will facilitate the project “Going Full Circle” over a two year period and will include: two seasonal, culturally and site specific semi-permanent ‘art mandalas’, a performance (musical) mandala; along with an on-line ‘digital mandala’ where participants share their creations as they relate to the common value of food and farms.
Each of these projects will share the common values of food, farm while engaging the amateur artist participant in a community inspired and created project.
